    Jette Ross

     
    Jette Ross (1936-2001) photographer, educational background in psychology and teaching. Photographer for the Denmark-China Friendship Association through several decades. In addition to numerous exhibitions in Copenhagen, her photographic essays, many on topics related to Chinese music, art and culture, have been published in various Danish and international journals. Her photos of Chinese storytellers, taken in Copenhagen 1996, Yangzhou 1997 and Yangzhou 2000 were published in The Eternal Storyteller. Oral Literature in Modern China (Curzon Press, Richmond 1999, edited by Vibeke Børdahl) and in Vibeke Børdahl and Jette Ross: Chinese Storytellers - Life and Art in the Yangzhou Tradition (Cheng & Tsui, Boston 2002).
