All materials of the database are open for research. The general rules of referencing followed by the scholarly community vis à vis scientific books and articles also apply in the use of the collections and the analytic framework of the database.

Some items and linked materials need special protection against illegal duplication on the internet and elsewhere. In such cases access is only possible via Login.

How to obtain status as a researcher with login

Membership is free of charge.

Your application must include:

Name, title, citizenship and profession. A short CV and a List of publications with relevance for the study of Chinese storytelling and performed arts.

If you are admitted to the Club, you will receive the rules for membership and a form stating your agreement to follow the rules. When this form has been signed and returned, you will receive a user name and a password.
