Item Formats

The database contains written and oral texts, as well as photos and pictures:

An item of a written text is generally found with links to the following formats:
-- original text as scanned page/pages (some scanned material is only accessible with Login)
-- Chinese character version transcribed into computerized Chinese characters;
the transcriptions are open to searching with the function > edit > find
-- English translations;
the translations are open to searching with the function > edit > find
An item of oral text (performance) is found with links to the following formats:
-- audio- or video recording (some recordings are only accessible with Login)
-- transcription directly from the recording into computerized Chinese characters;
the transcriptions are open to searching with the function > edit > find
-- English translation;
the translations are open to searching with the function > edit > find
Items of photos and pictures are available in jpeg-format
